As the church and body of Christ, parishioners are encouraged to participate in the Mass. If you would like to serve in one of the liturgical roles, please contact the parish office. You will be contacted to set up any necessary training. 

Altar Servers

Assist priest at altar with articles and liturgical functions. Monthly trainings are held during the school year.

Environment

Prepare interior and exterior of Church building for liturgical seasons. Activities include decorating, light construction and maintenance.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Assist priest in distribution of Eucharist during Holy Communion during Mass.

Gift Bearers

Bring up the bread, wine and collection during the Presentation of Gifts.

Greeters

Warmly welcome people at the main Church entrance(s) as they come to Mass.

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God during Liturgy of the Word at Mass.

Liturgical Music

Song leaders, choir members, organists, pianists, and all musicians are welcome, helping the Church continue to "address each other in Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs." Music is "an integral part of Liturgy." (CCC 1156)

Rosary

Lead the rosary 30 minutes before Mass.

Sacristan

Helps priest in preparation before Mass and after Mass.

Ushers

Assist in seating, receiving collection, handing out bulletins, and meeting special needs during Masses.
